Abortion

Earlier today I noticed that the Louisiana Right to Life Federation has me listed on their website as having not responded to their candidate questionnaire. In fact, I never received the questionnaire. I have contacted them to see how this happened.

In the meantime, here is a summary of my position on abortion:

Abortion should be prohibited except when necessary to prevent the death of the mother. That prohibition should be enacted at the state level, as are most laws dealing with violent crime. The Congress should take appropriate action to return the question of the legality of abortion to the individual states.
